The SeaTech team is the most responsive and technically competent marine electronics product and service provider I have encountered anywhere in SW FL and on the Chesapeake Bay. They have solved problems that several other service companies couldn’t and they did it promptly and cost effectively. On top of that they actually answer phone calls so you’re not left hanging after having left a voicemail. They are the best.

Bruce came out to my house and immediately understood what I was looking for……the boat has classic lines and he figured out how to add new electronics and keep the classic looks. As a retired Business owner, I learned many years ago that when you treat people the way you want to be treated, great things happen. And that’s how I found my relationship with Sea Teach when we met back in February of this year for the first time. I was introduced to them through another Captain who felt they could handle my needs regarding the electronics for our newly purchased 2015 Prestige 550. Like everyone else in the boating world, they are busy (which by the way is a good thing considering the current business environment). However, Bruce and his team have been extremely helpful in planning out the equipment I want, setting reasonable timelines for starting the project (keeping in mind the trials of just getting equipment from the manufactures), in addition to getting on their schedule once I approve the project. Regarding their workmanship, it’s been first class. Their Tech’s are great at installing and finding bugs when things just to communicate right. When we sit to review our progress, they bring the conversation to level that I can comprehend, (even though I’m somewhat of a closet geek). And when I have questions on operating the equipment and just cannot find it on Google or you tube, a call to them yields great results. Just recently I had issue with a hot water tank and Sea Tech was able to get a new tank and install it before we took a trip to Venice, FL.
So, if you’re like me and want great quality workmanship with the understanding that somethings just take time, I recommend you meet with Bruce and his team at Sea Tech for your electronic boating needs. Oh, and one last item, their attention to detail brings great value on the investment I’m making into our boat “Just Peachy”.

But, one doesn’t know how good a dealership is until something goes wrong. 2 years later, after continued problems getting the main unit and the autopilot to communicate, SeaTech brought out a great technician who solved the problem on the spot, and updated the software.

I am writing to inform you of my absolute satisfaction relative to the recent Simrad electronic additions to my boat. From the beginning, working with Bruce he not once rushed through my questions when asking about the various electronic manufacturers. With Bruce’s knowledge he was very patient and informative when it came to me making a product decision. I must be honest, I asked several questions and requested several different revisions to the proposal before selecting a package.

With regards to the rest of the SeaTech Team, Lisa in the office kept me informed of the installation work schedule every step of the way and was very pleasant when speaking on the phone.

Relative to the installation team, unfortunately I do not remember the names of the three man installation crew; however, they did a fantastic job. Boat was kept clean of debris and there was no trash left behind on the driveway where my boat was being serviced.

Lastly, when taking my boat back to the marina to be stored, I noticed the fuel gauge was not working. I put in a service call asking if I could have a service technician come out to diagnose the fuel gauge. At no time was there an excuse not to come out for a service call. Lisa, again very pleasant, scheduled service technician Russ to meet me at my boat. Russ, after a short time diagnosing the problem, explained to me the issue and fixed the fuel gauge. Russ was very professional.

Oh, I can’t forget about Ryan. From the beginning he kept me informed of every step of the way when it came to designing and manufacturing the new custom Chemcast Acrylic dashboard. It turned out perfect!!

Bruce, wanted to reach out to you and say thanks, could have never done it without you, when you decide to make a big investment on something that’s already a big investment you want to do it right. Also reading about everything to put on a boat gets confusing, well that stopped the day I came in and had you educate me on what’s what. After we decided what to order the next step was to install it and that’s where Dan came in, what a blast, treated the boat like it was his and made sure the service after the sale was there, which has been needed, a few things tweaked and Dan was right there, even the owner chipped in one Friday evening because he was near the Marina. So thanks again to everyone at SeaTech that made my experience great.

Exceeded my already high expectations!  The stereo system on my Sea Ray had Bose speakers.  I upgraded the entire system to JL Speakers and Amplifiers.  The set-up was perfectly designed and installed.  The wiring was very clean and the amplifiers perfectly adjusted.  Super knowledgeable and polite technicians who left my boat cleaner than when they started.  We discovered the JL speakers I wanted were just a bit smaller in screw pattern than the Bose speakers which left small holes just barely exposed.  Without skipping a beat, they fabricated trim rings out of white Acrylic on a CNC machine at their office and gave me a finished look that of factory brand new – all on the same day the project started!

SeaTech went the extra mile for us. For the last year, we have been a “trawler on the go”. After the first few weeks with our boat, we knew we needed a new GPS UNIT, an AIS system and satellite TV. We contacted Bruce at SeaTech while we were docked in Sanibel. The installations were not easy on this boat, but Chris worked tirelessly to get everything just right. When we wanted a second new GPS unit for the flybridge, they met us in Naples for the installation. When it was discovered that the two new units were not compatible(a Garmin issue), they arranged to have one unit replaced by another dealer while we traveled. That is service!

We would not hesitate to recommend SeaTech or to use them again for any electronics issues. They are knowledgeable, professional and responsive.

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I was with Chris yesterday. Even though I have become familiar with most of the instruments, he was able to fine tune and give me some very helpful tips.
